(FashionX, Runway Houston) https://www.instagram.com/shehla.rana/ says, “I wanted to design something elegant, especially for front line medical workers. These silk fabric masks can also be worn as a stylish scarf around the neck when not worn as face protection.”
Always on the front line of beauty; Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose will be gifting these fun and fashionable masks pro-bono to Houston medical professionals via the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation.
Among the first to receive a mask is The Methodist Hospital anesthesiologist Romy Lauren Mitchell, MD pictured below: “I definitely plan on practicing safe social distancing in public at restaurants and shopping for a while, whether we face shortages of masks in the future or not, remaining cautious and safe to protect myself and others too.”
