Plastic Surgery with Micropigmentation featuring the amazing artistry of medical micropigmentation Sherah Juarez and plastic surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose of the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation. On Great Day Houston with Deborah Duncan  Tuesday, August 15th at 9am on KHOU Channel 11. Medical micropigmentologist Sherah Juarez uses a unique technique to create natural-looking areolas onto breast cancer survivors post-mastectomy.Plastic Surgery with Micropigmentation

“I use multiple different size needles, different colors, some highlights and shading that gives the optical illusion of protrusion,” says Sherah. “We also do some art work in there, so it’s 3D and really life-like.”

The treatment is covered by insurance — Sherah makes it a priority to ensure patients are not left to hassle with coverage. Sherah also provides her services for uninsured and under-insured cancer survivors via the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation – founded by Dr. Franklin Rose who has over 30 years of experience in breast reconstruction for cancer survivors following mastectomy surgery – and Sherah performs her procedures in the safety and comfort of Dr. Rose’s office in Uptown Park, Houston.

“Being a part of giving back a part of what’s been taken from them — it’s an amazing job,” says Sherah.
